AfriTECH 6.0 gathers tech leaders in Lagos on November 13, 2026, under the theme The Next $1 Trillion Opportunity.

Digital Encode has secured the lead sponsorship position for AfriTECH 6.0, the sixth edition of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum, scheduled for November 13, 2026 in Lagos. The gathering will assemble technology executives, government officials, and investors to examine how digital frameworks can accelerate Africa’s economic development under the theme The Next $1 Trillion Opportunity: Building Africa’s Digital Future.

The conference’s lineup now features Muhammed Rudman, CEO of the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN); Uche Uzoebo, MD/CEO of Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities Limited (SANEF); and Happiness Obioha, CEO of Tizel Cybersecurity and Regional Sales Director at Tecom Concepts Limited. Earlier confirmations included Dr. Aminu Maida from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Engr. Gbenga Adebayo of ALTON, and Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani of Digital Realty Nigeria.

Digital Encode, established in 2003 by Professor Adewale Peter Obadare, focuses on cybersecurity, information security, and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) consulting. Its sponsorship reflects rising concerns about digital trust as African economies expand their technology use. The firm assists clients in protecting sensitive data, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance across banking, telecommunications, fintech, and government sectors.

Cybersecurity has become essential for Africa’s digital progress, as reliance on cloud platforms, fintech solutions, and AI grows. Digital Encode’s capabilities in vulnerability testing, penetration assessments, and digital forensics make it central to addressing these emerging threats. The company’s participation reinforces AfriTECH 6.0’s emphasis on infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and investment strategies needed to expand financial access and cybersecurity protections across the continent.

The event will also present the Africa Tech Alliance Excellence Awards (ATAEx Awards 2026), honoring leaders advancing Africa’s tech ecosystem. Rudman, Uzoebo, and Obioha’s involvement will enrich debates on internet connectivity, digital payments, and cybersecurity—three priorities for Africa’s technological advancement.

Rudman’s decades-long career in telecommunications and internet infrastructure will be a highlight. As founder of Nigeria’s first neutral internet exchange, IXPN, he has influenced domestic interconnection policies and regulatory standards. His roles as Executive President of the Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NiRA) and chair of the Nigeria IPv6 Council demonstrate his leadership in shaping connectivity policies. His contributions will likely address broadband expansion and next-generation internet protocols as foundational to Africa’s digital economy.
